Mastic (also known as “Mastiha”) is the resin produced by the unique Pistachio lenticus tree on the Greek island of Chios. It is the active ingredient from which all of our products are derived.
Mastic resin has some very interesting properties with natural benefits to health and wellness. It has a unique flavour and aroma; a little bitter, fruity and earthy.
The substance itself is made of hundreds of components, offering a wide array of properties with benefits ranging from oral health and oily skin, to antibacterial action, indigestion, acid reflux, and diabetes.
It has been used as an ingredient to treat cancers, infection, surgical wounds and gastric ulcers. Traditionally, it has also served as an antioxidant and antiseptic, for treatment of high cholesterol, Crohn disease, diabetes and hypertension.
Mastic has traditionally served as a sacred therapy for a range of health conditions since the ancient Greek times. Recent scientific studies have highlighted the unique benefits Mastic has particularly as a treatment for oily skin and large pores. Mastic liposomes inhibit the enzymes responsible for regulating the hormones responsible for producing excess oil on the skin, thus resulting in clear and glowing skin.
Mastic is found exclusively on the island of Chios, and is one of the most lucrative exports of Greece. The specific environmental factors of the island, such as soil and climate, led the Mastic trees to produce a rich resin in high quantities. The resin has been harvested for centuries due to its special healing properties, traditionally used as chewing gum to freshen the breath and aid with digestion.
During harvest season, which runs from July to October, hundreds of mico-incisions are made in the tree bark to sap the delicate resin. Because the extracted sap has a teardrop-like shape, mastic gum is often referred to as the “teardrops of Chios.”

Once you enter your details (username & password) you will be automatically directed to your Account dashboard. Here you can save your contact details, delivery addresses and see your past orders.

If you have already completed checkout and you wish to cancel your order, call us as soon as possible. We normally fulfil order within same day, or the morning after, so if you call us immediately, we will be able to cancel your order. Please allow up to 10 days to process your full refund.
If your order is already processed and out for delivery, then we cannot cancel it. You can return your item at no extra cost, and we will provide a refund of the order total – you only have to cover the initial shipping costs.
If you have already completed checkout and you wish to change the delivery address of your order, call us as soon as possible. We normally fulfil order within same day, or the morning after, so if you call us immediately, we will be able to change your order.
If your order is already out for delivery, unfortunately we cannot guarantee that we can change the delivery address as it is now in the hands of the courier. We are not responsible for the consequences of submitting the wrong shipping details.
We will try to call the courier to change the address, otherwise it will be returned to us within 3-5 working days. Any further shipping costs must be covered by the customer.
We do not offer gift wrapping as an option on the website at this current time. We are still developing our website, and this will definitely be something that we offer in the future!
The shipping fee for store-to-door home delivery is €6.
If you live outside of the major cities in Cyprus, or you simply wish to collect your order instead, you may visit your nearest ACS courier station to receive your package! This collection service is free of charge.

Although we cannot guarantee next-day delivery, as it is up to the courier, in most cases our packages do arrive at their destination within the next working day.
You may collect your package from any of the local courier stations across Cyprus.
Simply select this option at the checkout, enter your delivery address, and we will update you via email about the exact location of your nearest courier station!
If you have waited longer than a week for your parcel to arrive, please send us an email with your order number and contact details. We will follow up with the courier and see the status of your delivery.

For defective or damaged products, returns are accepted within 2 working days from the delivery date. Please return the package at your local courier station. Contact us for instructions on how to safely return a product.
We do not accept product exchanges at this given time.
All refunds will be credited directly into the bank account from which the purchase was made. Please allow up to 10 working days to process the refund.
